We Believe:
The Bible is the verbally inspired, inerrant Word of God, and the complete revelation of His will for salvation and the unfailing rule of faith and practice for the Christian life.
(2 Timothy 3;16, 2Petr 1:20-21)
God, the Creator of all things, is eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power.
(John 1:1-2, 2 Corinthians 13:14).
The deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on the cross; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal, imminent return. (John 1:1, Matthew 1:20-23, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Hebrews 1:3,10:12, John 16:7-11, Matthew 19:28; 25:31, 2 Timothy 2:8).
That we were all created by and for God; that through disobedience we all incurred spiritual death, separated from God, and consequently physical death, that we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. (Genesis 1:26-27, Romans 5:12, 3:23, 1 John 1:8, Ephesians 2:3).
That our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and all who believe in Him are declared righteous because of His sacrificial death, and are therefore in a right relationship with God. (Ephesians 1:7,2:1-10, John 1;12, Romans
That the Gospel is the good news of what God accomplished in the life, death, and resurrection of His Son, to secure the forgiveness of sins to all who will repent and believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. We do not earn, or deserve eternal life, but God provides His spirit to regenerate us through His Son. Faith and repentance (genuine turning from sin to Jesus) are the effects of being born again. At the moment of true saving faith, the believer’s sins are removed, and sanctification begins, whereby the life of Christ shapes and forms each person to the glory of God. (John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Mark 1:15, Romans 9:10).
